As one of 5 major sabbatical projects this year, I was able to complete membership in the International Society of Appraisers this spring, passing required exams and the United States Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP). I have already begun working with regional institutions and collectors to provide this service. It is also a great addition to the curriculum at MSUM where the field can be discussed as a possible vocational opportunity for students.
